 AUGUST 1990 PLOTS AROUND THE WORLDWelcome the month of August, ladies and gentleman. Young witches and wizards are preparing to gear up and head back to school, and some might be loathing the upcoming changes as the weeks of summer come to the close. The weather in all locations is warm and sunny, although those heading back to Hogwarts might experience some rain and cloudy weather. Students will embark on their respective modes of transportation on the 31st, and the Beginning of Term Feasts will be held on September 01. Enjoy the last vestiges of summer! As with anything, please mark the word "august plot" somewhere in the title of your first post, so you can get the correct amount of points! THINGS TO NOTE: students in Beauxbatons received letters earlier in the month highlighting the new rules of their school, and the port key locations. Students in Durmstrang also received a letter, although this states that there will be some minor changes being made around the school. STUDENTS IN ANY SCHOOL (minus the Facility) HAVE FREEDOM TO POST ANYWHERE (granted they can get there) BUT MUST BE ON THE TRAIN / PORTKEY / SHIP / ETC. ON AUGUST 31ST, OR BE PREPARED FOR SEVERE CONSEQUENCES.ADULTS: The world of magic is in a mess of chaos as school creeps closer and closer to the starting point. Members of both sides, and the Resistance, are scrambling through the United Kingdom to get as many new muggleborns as possible. Families without the strong magical connection are prone to being snatched up while they're out and about, or even while they're sleeping. These disappearances have been flooding the muggle television, because parents aren't sure what's happening. The rush for finding muggleborn incoming first years is on. OPTIONAL: feel free to make up names for students on either side, and where they'll be going; we may add these to the future canon list to play! ADDITIONALLY: Please feel free to tag Voldemort or Albus Dumbledore if you need an NPC! Admin Notice: Playtime will change on or around February 12, 2017, and all August threads need to be started before that date to count towards August playtime.
