THE RULES
Welcome to TP! Are you interested in joining us here? We're excited for the possibilities that you're going to come hang out with us! We have a handful of rules relating to OOC and IC things here at TP, and we suggest you take a look at them! Please note: at any time, these rules can change, and we suggest you keep up to date on it!
COMMON KNOWLEDGE
--> TP is a PG to PG-13 website. Please do not post explicit or overly sexual scenes anywhere on the public parts of the forums. If needed, either fade to black, or ask an administrator what you can do in your thread.
--> This RPG deals in the Harry Potter world, and while it is partially an Alternate Universe, any history not mentioned as changed has happened.
--> All posts in game must be a minimum of 150 words.
--> Everyone is here to have a good time -- treat your fellow members with respect, and you'll get the same. If you have any issues or problems that arise out of out of character sections, please message anyone on the Member Team or the Administration team!
--> Absolutely no god-modding is allowed. God-modding is when you make your character invincible, unable to be touched, perfect at everything, etc. If you decide to move another person's character, please have their permission before hand. It's common courteous!
ACCOUNT AND CHARACTER CREATION
--> Every character must have a separate account. Because of how Proboards now runs, you can have one email address and multiple characters through their character switch option (located at the bottom right of the screen).
--> Please, no out of character accounts, as those are reserved only for administrators. Try to sign up with your character's first and last name as your username.
--> All posted images should be of your face claim, and not of artwork, cartoons, or anime characters. Please only use celebrities as your face claim.
--> Unless given permission, and unless a multiple child, no character will be able to use the same face claim or same last name as any other currently played character. Please be mindful of WIP face claims.
--> All school-aged and up characters are allowed here on TP. Currently, we do not allow muggles and squibs to be on the board.
--> Classes will be held on account of activity once a month (in a rotation schedule, chosen by the administration team as new months come up), and if you have a student, you are
highly encouraged to join these classes!
--> Applications seem long, but take your time filling them out! WIPs are just that -- works in progress. Start a workbox and take your time, create connections, and once you're done, feel free to post in the Sorting Hat to start your time here at TP!
IMAGES, AVATARS, SIGNATURES
--> Avatar images are 200 pixels wide by 300 pixels high. Please do
not use the upload function (from the computer), as this does not upload properly. Upload it to imgur or photobucket and use the link section.
--> Signatures should be no bigger than 500 pixels wide and 300 pixels high. Anything bigger and it will be subject to removal by the administration team.
