The first Wizarding War never truly ended. Yes, Albus Dumbledore scared away Voldemort, but at what cost? Harry Potter never defeated Voldemort. Harry Potter never became the hero of this story. On the eve of 1990, Voldemort reared his head, and the British Wizarding World fell apart. He took over Hogwarts within a week, and as students started to return from their Christmas Holidays, muggleborns started to disappear. A new school was built, specifically for these less-than students who stole magic. This school was a prison.
But Voldemort didn't just take Hogwarts -- he attacked Beauxbatons, destroying the once beautifully sculpted school with such anger and intensity. It now harbors a school to train wizarding spies, and of course, The Resistance. Durmstrang leans heavily towards supporting Voldemort, growing the children it teaches towards being new Death Eaters. Ilvermorny, so far, has been staying neutral, but only time can shape how they react once Voldemort comes overseas...
The Past is the Past is an all new, Alternate Universe Harry Potter RPG, featuring five unique and active schools, Quidditch, Quodpot and school-specific sports, standard and unique to the site special features, handfuls of helpful and eager to meet you administrators, and even exciting new plots on the horizon! We are an semi-intermediate plus website (our minimum word count is 150, and our application seems a bit lengthy!), but we actively strive to help others grow as a writer! Come join us!
